Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
For me I had a Matron of honor who was always on standby for me to bounce ideas off of. This was great because she gave me views from a different perspective besides my own. We used alot of pinterest boards and always scheduled everything way in advance. Last minute to do lists are a big no no in my book so staying ontop of everything early on helped our special day run smoothly.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
My husband and I are huge gamers but I also appreciate an elegant look so we wanted it to be formal but wanted the decorations to reflect our shared interests to make it unique to us. All in all it came out beautifully. We had a pancake cake wedding cake, videogame and pop culture references from our favorite shows, Nerf guns and instead of a first dance we had a first Super Smash brothers match. It was so perfectly us.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
Antonio and I met at Walgreens. I was visiting a friend who recently had transferred from my Walgreens where we worked at together to a new one. When I found my friend he was in the candy aisle setting it up with Antonio. He introduced us and eventually I transferred to the same Walgreen’s with him and we became coworker’s, then friends and now we’re married!
Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?
Dare to love to me means giving love a second chance. Before Antonio I just had terrible luck with relationships and I eventually just got discouraged and accepted that I would just stay single. When I met Antonio my entire outlook on life changed including my views on love. I opened up to him and I’m so glad I did because he’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
The best part of my day? How can I choose, I had such a blast! Maybe it was when I got to good off with my wedding party when we were taking group photos….or maybe eating dinner for the first time as husband and wife. I can’t choose! But the sparkler/Nerf gun send off was definitely up there! We loved it all!
