Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Give yourself plenty of time to plan! Your day will come up so fast. Everything WILL NOT go as planned and that is ok! Everything will work out on your special day. At the end of the day it is about you and your hubby to be so don’t sweat the small stuff. Also the smaller the wedding party the better… less drama trust me.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
I always love nature and outdoors. Ever since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to get married underneath a huge tree! It’s simple but still romantic, which describes me and my husband perfectly! We’re simple people but stand out in our own way, so our wedding ended up being simple but elegant with a touch of rustic.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
Frank and I have known each other since 7th grade and been great friends ever since, but never dated until years after we graduated high school. We hadn’t seen each other in about 3 years and decided to meet up at the Houston Zoo lights for our first date, and it’s been a joyful ride ever since. One night at Discovery Green park he took me for a walk on a windy December night and proposed in between hundreds of beautiful rainbow colored windmills all around us! I will never forget that colorful night!
Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?
Dare to Love means to not be afraid to let your guard down for that special someone. Love is all about taking risks, dare to show someone your true self and dare to accept someone else for who they truly are.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
This might be a little cliche but my most memorable part of my day was our vows. We wrote ours separately and somehow on the day of, we mentioned the exact same things and everyone was so moved by our words to each other, I loved every moment at the altar.
Q: What did you love most about your #CocoMelody dress (es)?
I loved the quality and detail! The wedding dress looked exactly like the picture online, even better in person! The lace and appliques were stunning!
Q: What do you think about CocoMelody and the customer service?
CocoMelody is absolutely out of this world. Wedding dress shopping has never been this stress-free! Customer service is great, delivery was on time with no delays. They take their time to craft your dress, dress sizes are true to size and the price is so worth it! I couldn’t imagine spending thousands of dollars on a dress that I will only wear once. Recommending to all future brides on a budget!
