Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?

My advice for future Mrs. is to keep it small, the intimate the better.  We personally only invited family & it amazing having are family’s get along together and meet each other.  It allows less room for drama & no need to have to entertain friends at the same time.  Also, do everything early; plan a year ahead, & do everything little by little, on your invites tell your guests it starts earlier than it really does, so they’re on time.  Book a venue that’s all inclusive so you don’t have to scurry and decorate when you guests are in town.  Embrace the whole day! Speak to everything personally & take it slow.  Look around and remember all the moments.

Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?

Jonathan and I met and live in Las Vegas.  We were at a business meeting and I kept seeing Jonathan staring at me, but little did he know I saw him before and I always had a crush on him.  After seeing me again, he asked one of our mutual friends about me and he told him come to his birthday party that weekend because I would be there.  Once that weekend happened, we were inseparable & started dating.  Jonathan proposed to me when we were visiting family in New Jersey.  We both have family out there and we decided to have a big lunch with both our sides together since they all have not met yet.  We ate Rodizio and after I thanked everyone for come out, Jonathan got on one knee and asked me to marry him.  He had the whole restaurant cheering us on & I could not have been more happier that he had our family there to see.

Q:  How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?

“Dare to Love” means to love whole-heartedly even if your unsure of where it can take you.  Take the risk to be your best self , and give your partner the best love you’d like to receive yourself.  Take the chance to be unsure & embrace the outcome of what may happen when you dare to be your best self.

Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?

I did not have a theme, but I wanted it to represent elegance and class.  I wanted it to represent me! I just love the color rose gold & wanted to incorporate that into our wedding.  I wanted a wedding that people would react like “Oh, this is so Richelle!”

Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?

I really enjoyed the wedding planning process.  It was so fun because me and Jonathan have similar interests, so speaking ideas with one another was so fun.  The fact that Jon helped me out a lot and put his input made it a couples process and not just a bride’s wedding.  I love doing my research and finding deals on nice items that would bring out the details in our wedding.  I am a very frugal person and me and Jon wanted to plan and pay for the wedding ourselves.  We had a lot of fun shopping around and comparing prices or all the different ideas one could incorporate in their wedding.  We were able to plan for a whole year, and space it out enough so it was not a lump sum on cash.  This made it more enjoyable , since we did not have to spend much anytime we made a purchase.

Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?

I love the elegant touch that it put on my wedding.  I knew what look I was going for and the wedding dress the look on the money.  I love the fact that it was not an arm and a leg & I looked amazing, if not better than any costly wedding dress.  I love the sheer neck line & back and the shape of the dress & how it complimented my body shape.  I felt so beautiful in that dress.

Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?

I had a great time saying “Yes to the dress!” I did not feel pressure to make sure I bought something. This dress was actually not in the LA store when I went to try it on and they were able to accommodate me to a similar looking dress. Even though I did not know how it would look on me,  I took the chances & I am so glad I did.  It was kind of big on me when I received it, so I had it altered in a few areas. I also took the neckline down, to accentuate my collar bone. Overall, dealing with Cocomelody was a pleasure & I would definitely recommend you to any future bride!
