Sandy & Eric had their rustic wedding by the lake in Auburn, California. Due to the Alfred Angelo bankruptcy, Sandy needed to find “The Dress” in a rush, we are really lucky to be a part of their great happiness by making Sandy a perfect wedding dress in time. Sandy achieved the kind of wedding she had been dreaming of since her first date with Eric, and they had the best day ever! Cheers to these two lovebirds!

Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs?
Small personalized touches will mean much more than expensive add-ons. Try not to sweat the small things and enjoy the day!
Q: How did you meet? And where did he propose?
We worked together at a summer camp, at UC Santa Barbara while working at the Family Vacation Center in the summer of 2011. It was the Birthday party for Clarence the goldfish, when I noticed the less festively dressed, Eric across the room, and cleverly suggested me wear his water wings for the costume party. But alas his arms were too big to fit, I lamented. This not so subtle use of a flirtation device caught the attention of Eric and from that moment I was hooked, line, and sinker. The rest of the night went swimmingly and soon after we went on our first dates, which included the VC Wine Tour, 27-mile bike ride, and a chaperoned screening of Winnie the Pooh, and we have been inseparable ever since.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
The lakeside venue lent itself to a rustic theme, and we blended in some elegant touches. We wanted it to feel warm and cozy, yet dressed for the occasion.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
Yes! Even after 6 years of dating it brought us even closer together, and allowed us to get to know each other’s families on a deeper level.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
The whole day was incredible. Getting ready with my girls, the first look, the vows, the first dance. It really was the best day ever!
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
The wedding dress was so comfortable and flowed beautifully. I loved the adjustable corset back because it could be laced up to just the right tightness. I was nervous about ordering a dress online, but it was very well made, and fit perfectly!
Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?
They were very responsive and professional. I had to have my dress rush ordered due to the Alfred Angelo bankruptcy, and Cocomelody made sure I would have my dress in time to have altered for the wedding.
