Carrie Bradshaw arriving in church in her custom Vivienne Westwood gown is undoubtedly one of the most iconic wedding scenes in the past decade (and not just because Mr. Big jilted her at the altar!) The exaggerated sweetheart neckline, structured corset, and layers upon layers of ivory silk satin pretty much guaranteed her place as one of the most fashionable brides in film history. While best friends Liv (played by Kate Hudson, above right) and Emma (played by Anne Hathaway, above left) shared the same wedding plans, their personal styles were very different, which was evident in their wedding dress choices. Liv, a lawyer with a penchant for designer pieces and clean lines, chose a strapless drop waist ballgown with Chantilly lace and a layered tulle skirt, while free-spirited Emma’s off-shoulder taffeta wedding gown was more romantic than modern. Lusting after their drool-worthy gowns? Get Liv’s look here and Emma’s look here.
