Carrie Bradshaw arriving in church in her custom Vivienne Westwood gown is undoubtedly one of the most iconic wedding scenes in the past decade (and not just because Mr. Big jilted her at the altar!) The exaggerated sweetheart neckline, structured corset, and layers upon layers of ivory silk satin pretty much guaranteed her place as one of the most fashionable brides in film history. While best friends Liv (played by Kate Hudson, above right) and Emma (played by Anne Hathaway, above left) shared the same wedding plans, their personal styles were very different, which was evident in their wedding dress choices. Liv, a lawyer with a penchant for designer pieces and clean lines, chose a strapless drop waist ballgown with Chantilly lace and a layered tulle skirt, while free-spirited Emma’s off-shoulder taffeta wedding gown was more romantic than modern. Lusting after their drool-worthy gowns? Get Liv’s look here and Emma’s look here.

Bella Swan’s wedding dress was the perfect embodiment of her personality: modern with traditional elements, elegant without being too girly, and incredibly romantic!  Designed by Carolina Herrera, Bella’s sheath gown was made from crepe satin and featured long sleeves, a slight V-neck, and a beautiful oval-shaped back with lace details. We didn’t expect anything less than spectacular from television’s very own Queen B! Understated yet sophisticated, Blair Waldorf’s wedding dress was the perfect choice for a would-be Princess of Monaco. Designed by Vera Wang, the A-line gown featured a multi-layered Chantilly lace applique and a horsehair bow sash at the waist. Get the same look here.

While Mia Thermopolis did not end up tying the knot in The Princess Diaries sequel, her Gary Jones wedding gown still stole the spotlight. Featuring the same décolletage method used by Givenchy, her gown had a romantic off-shoulder lace overlay and intricate lace sleeves fitting for a would-be queen. Get the same look here.

Ron Howard’s film Rush depicted the heyday of Formula One racing and the glamorous fashion of the 1970s. In the film, Suzy Miller (played by Olivia Wilde, above left) gets hitched in a Julian Day calf-length ivory dress with a deep V-neck, lace cap sleeves, and a netted veil. Get the same look here.

The road to Emily Thorne and Daniel Grayson’s much-anticipated wedding was a very frustrating one, but it was all worth it once viewers saw an ethereal Emily walking down the aisle. Designed by Jill Ohannesson, Emily’s sheath gown was made from Alençon lace and featured an asymmetrical tulle overskirt. Get the same look here.
