Inspiration: The 2016 Emmy Awards

It was TV’s biggest night just a few days ago, and here at Cocomelody, that means one thing: dresses! We couldn’t help but swoon over some of the gorgeous looks that Hollywood’s biggest stars wore on the Emmy red carpet.  More importantly, we saw a lot of white dresses that gave us some fresh bridal inspiration. From contemporary modern styles to understatedly elegant looks and everything in between, here are our favorite bridal-inspired looks from this year’s Emmy Awards:

Sofia Vergara wore a stunning one-shoulder Versace Atelier gown that accentuated her incredible curves. She kept the rest of her look simple, save for a pair of Guiseppe Zannoti shoes and bling from Lorraine Schwartz.

Former Downtown Abbey star Michelle Dockery wore a gorgeous tiered Oscar de La Renta gown with ruffles, black piping, and slim jeweled belt cinched at the waist.

Emmy Rossum proved that less is definitely more! Clad in a plunging white Wes Gordon gown with a thigh-high slit, she finished off her minimal and sophisticated look with a pair of white strappy heels and Fred Leighton jewelry.

Modern Family actress Julie Bowen showed off her toned body in a chic Lela Rose white gown with ruffles at the back. She kept her look feminine and modern, with Brian Atwood heels and a colored clutch.

If you love Black Swan, you’ll want to copy Olivia Culpo’s dress ASAP! Designed by Zac Posen, her midi-length dress featured mosaic-inspired white flecks on a sheer overlay and a fitted bodice. She finished off her look with strappy metallic heels and a white clutch.

The Black-ish star may only be 16, but Yara Shahidi showed off some serious style in a cool dress by Clara Rotescu. Made from white chiffon, the dress featured allover white and gold spots, cap sleeves, and a soft flowing skirt.

Niecy Nash looked amazing on the red carpet in a custom figgure-hugging Christian Siriano gown that showed off her killer curves.

Felicity Huffman looked like a modern-day Cinderella in her fawn-colored gown by Tony Ward. Cut in a classic and flattering A-line silhouette, the dress featured lace and sheer tulle details and a flowing skirt.
