One of the most anticipated award seasons has just ended and while many are still debating over the night’s wins and losses, this year’s Golden Globes means only one thing for us at Cocomelody: obsessing over our favorite dresses! There were so many good looks on the red carpet this year, but we’ve chosen those that are appropriate for wedding season and have narrowed down out top choices:
Hailee Steinfeld looked every bit the modern princess in a beautiful lavender gown by Vera Wang. We especially love the take on the cold-shoulder trend here!
It’s no wonder Emma Stone won a Golden Globe that night, even her Valentino dress was studded with mettalic silver stars! We love that she had minimal accessories and just let her gorgeous dress take center stage.
Another stylish take on the cold-shoulder trend, Drew Barrymore nailed the boho chic trend in her beaded Monique Lhuillier dress. With her fresh waves and minimal accessories, she looked every inch a 1970s fashion icon.
Gillian Anderson’s ivory Jenny Packham dress gave us serious bridal vibes. We love the classic style of the gown fused in with contemporary touches like glitter tulle.
One of our top looks of the night goes to Mandy Moore, who looked amazing on the red carpet. Clad in Naeem Khan, Moore’s Grecian-style gown featured a sheer cape and a plunging neckline that left little to the imagination.
Reese Witherspoon looked beautiful in a custom Versace dress that featured a side slit and a low neckline.
Sienna Miller is known for her great style and she definitely did not disappoint in her white Michael Kors dress. Featuring side cutouts that showed off her trim figure, she finished off her look with pearls.
Sylvester Stallone’s daughters Sistine, Scarlett, and Sophia made their stylish red carpet debut as Miss Golden Globes. Clad in Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, and Armani, we can’t wait to see what they wear next year!
