Anna & Robert had the Christmas wedding of our dreams in Rochester, New York! Vintage with a modern twist, style LD3906 perfectly complemented Anna’s big day. She customized the lining color and added off-the-shoulder long sleeves to make the whole style more of her own. And all the bridesmaids were dazzling in #SkiPatrol tulle dresses. Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
Christmas is our favorite time of year. The snow, Christmas trees, lights, warm fireplaces. We tried to implement all those elements into our wedding, except for the snow. Mother nature did not cooperate that day for us. It was a beautiful and perfect day.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
Robert and back in 2011 at Moe’s. I was coming in and I held the door open for him. We started talking in line and he couldn’t believe I could eat such a bug burrito. We exchanged phone numbers and text back and forth for several weeks before our first date, which was bowling. After six years he proposed July 5th 2016 at a picnic with our family. He asked me to help him grab something from the cooler. As i was helping he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Of course I said yes.
Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?
I would describe “Dare to Love” as not being afraid to fall in love again and take a chance because sometimes love finds you when you least expect it.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
The most memorable part of our wedding was having our children be part of our wedding.
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress (es)?
What I loved about my Cocomelody dress besides the price was the quality and the customization of my dress. From start to finish customer service and communication was great! I chose Cocomelody for my bridesmaids dresses for several reasons. One being the custom sizing. My bridesmaids sizes varied. With custom sizing, they could all wear the same style and color. The pricing with the discount I received from purchasing my dress was great. I ordered my wedding dress first and loved my dress, I knew my girls would look great in their dresses as well.
