Q: Any tips or advice for anyone getting married soon?

REMEMBER that it is YOUR day! You aren’t throwing a party for your friends/family. You are not obligated to encorporate ANYone elses wishes/needs/demands. This is YOUR day, the beginning of YOUR story as a Married Couple. When you celebrate this day on your 1st, 5th, 10th.. 50th anniversary.. what do YOU want to remember??

Also, keep your guest list minimal. Try to remember that every single guest is going to want a piece of you that day and you dont want to be SO overwhelmed greeting and thanking everyone (and trying not to offend anyone by forgetting them, or not giving them enough time) that you dont have time to enjoy your celebration!

Q: How did you decide on your wedding dress?

I actually looked at a tin of catalogues and stores…vintage consignment…even costume shops. Nothing seemed to fit a Bojo bride in a Gold Rush themed wedding! I came upon Cocomelody completely by chance, they popped up in my newsfeed. I saw the beaded sheath dress and was instantly in love!

Q: What did you love most about your Cocomelody dress?

My dress was beatiful, unique, completely fit my personality and theme. It was a warm summer day and the dress was comfortable and cool. I had no problem using the restroom alone in it! Ha!

And I was even able to breast feed in it!
But most of all, I loved all of the compliments I got on it. Everyone thought it was perfect.

Sweet Mother & Daughter Moment

Q: Favorite Wedding Memory?

Wow…tough one. I think just sitting at our head table and looking out at all of my family and friends laughing and dancing and having fun. That was the best.

Q: What was your hubby’s reaction when he first saw you on your wedding day?

Big ole softy…he teared up. I wispered to him to stop it right now or I was going to cry too and we’d NEVER get through the ceremony! He told me I was Beautiful. And I sure felt Beautiful.
