Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
My advice was don’t sweat the small things, focus on marrying your best friend and everything will fall into place.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
Luke and I started dating back in 2013, we met through mutual friends, our first date was at the movies and it was honestly the best night I’d ever had. We both didn’t want to leave talking for hours in the car park (in the freezing cold).
Luke adored not just me but my daughter also, which led us to extend our family and we had a little boy in 2015 soon to follow we purchased our first family home. In 2016, Luke proposed to me, I honestly thought something was wrong he was passing up and down the house, whilst I was out the back playing with the kids. I asked what is wrong, Luke got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. It took me by surprise but the best part was having both our children there made it all the more special.
Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?
“Dare to love” for me, means take chances to dare to be brave and take chances to find happiness.
In order to find that love, that spark, that connection. That best friend and soul mate ❤️
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
Rustic, both Luke and I are very casual kind of people we don’t like too much of a fuss but rustic we love, so it was a no-brainer for us. 🙂
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
From before I was even engaged, I had thought of eloping wed with a twist which Luke thought was a great idea, it took all the stress and pressure. Off us both, with picking exactly what we wanted and sue, and her team really did everything else, it was fantastic.
Q: What was your hubby’s reaction when he first saw you on your big day?
His handsome smile to me said it all when he saw me and my daughter.
Q: What did you love most about your Cocomelody dress?
Where do I start, my wedding dress was AMAZING. I honestly could not have been happier, the quality the beautiful beading was everything I had hoped for and no one would believe me how affordable it was.
Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?
I was so nervous about ordering from Cocomelody, but I saw the dress I wanted and well needed, so I messaged the staff and they got straight back to me answered all my questions and were so helpful especially when it came to my measurements, 110% recommend.
