Keri & Dock were married in St Bernards Hotel, Mt Tamborine, Gold Coast, Australia. Their wedding incorporated a rustic theme with slightly boho, garden greenery. And we adore the accents of blue on Keri’s floral crown and bouquet!

Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Enjoy the journey! Your wedding day will fly past so quickily, so enjoy every second you can and don’t stress any of the little things because at the end of the day those little things won’t matter!
Q: What about your love story?
We’ve been together for 15 years. My husband has been my only love and I’d been wanting to marry him forever! We lost a baby this year at 18 weeks pregnant due to a birth defect and his birth date would’ve been June 23rd 2017. We thought that instead of making that day a sad day full of grief we wanted to celebrate his life and honor him by getting married. It only gave us less than 5 months to plan, but we did it! Our life last 4 weeks have been nothing but blessing upon blessings!
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
I love everything rustic so made my rustic themed wedding easy to invision.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
I loved planning my own wedding. It was exciting to organise my own vision and see it come to reality. Stressful at times but worth every second.
Q: Most memorable moment on your big day?
Seeing our families come together to celebrate, hearing all the hearts of our guests and what we mean to them, showing our friends and family how far we’ve come in GOD compared to the life we used to live. Keeping our strong Maori cultural traditions..oh and seeing all the hilarious photos taken in the photobooth!
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
My dress is amazing!! How it looks online is exactly what I got. The quality is top of the line and the detail in the dress had all my guests in awe. I’m a bigger girl so I had problems finding a wedding dress that made me look flattering and wasn’t ugly. With the custom sizing options, my dress fit perfect with no alterations needed.
Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?
Best customer service I’ve come across. Beyond helpful with fast replies. Always available even with silly weird questions I asked lol. I was able to change the V neckline on my dress so it wasn’t so low showing no cleavage. I thought this would be a difficult request but wasn’t an issue at all, one extra measurement and it was sorted! Thank you so much, Cocomelody!
