Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Try not to sweat the small things. Your wedding is one day of the rest of your lives. Something will inevitably go awry, but as long as you are married at the end of the day- I say that’s all that matters.
Q: How did you meet? And where did he propose?
We met in North Carolina through mutual friends. Craig proposed at Watkins Glen State Park in Watkins Glen, NY.
Q: What location did you pick to have your wedding and why did you choose this place?
We chose Knoxville, Tennessee. I was born there. All of my extended family lives there, including my grandmother. She isn’t in the best health & it was extremely important to me that she be there. It is also a beautiful city which didn’t hurt!
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
Craig & I are both down to earth & easy to get along with. We wanted a wedding that would reflect that.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
I enjoyed some aspects of wedding planning. I loved coming up with ideas for colors, venue, etc. I do think it’s important to let people help you though! It’s very easy to get overwhelmed when you try to take on every thing by yourself.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
The best part of the day for both of us was at dinner. After we were seated with our food, we were able to look around and take in everything. All of the people we love & hold dear were in the same place! That’s never happened before & will likely never happen again because we are from two different states. It was such an amazing feeling that we will both cherish forever.
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
The buttons! The price & quality were also fantastic at Cocomelody.
Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?
Their customer service is top notch. Very assertive & quick to respond to any question I had regarding my wedding dress.
