There’s just something about mixed cultural weddings that is so beautiful. Olivia & Farhan had a traditional wedding in Houston, Texas and mixed pink and gold hues together to create a welcoming feel. Also, their night was full of laughter and tears. Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
The most important detail is your love on your wedding day. Don’t worry about anything else and it will all fall into place!
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
My inspiration was our interracial relationship. Combining two unique cultures from completely different parts of the world for one night.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
Farhan and I met at a local college library on February 23, 2013. Even though our first encounter wasn’t spectacular, we could’ve never guessed the next 5 years of our lives would be. We quickly realized we were two different people who shared one thing in common- the love for one another. Considering we come from two different religions and overall different walks of life, we knew we had a lot of obstacles to overcome. Never the less, our engagement took place on June 7, 2017, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico next to Lover’s Arch on a yacht. It was the most beautiful engagement I could’ve dreamed of. We are now happy to call ourselves Mr. & Mrs. Baig as of October 20, 2018.
Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?
Love regardless of who/what tells you “no”.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
Walking down the aisle after being announced as husband and wife!!
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress (es)?
The uniqueness of it. You cannot find anything like my wedding dress in stores! My heart shaped back was so adorable as well.
