Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?

Always set a budget, no matter if your wedding is going to be big or small. I will also recommend to give yourself some time to save enough money to have the wedding that you want & feel comfortable having. Don’t fall under pressure of other people, people will always give you advice, don’t feel the need that you need to do what they tell you. Also make sure that the people that go to the wedding are the people that you want there and the people that have been with you throughout your relationship, it was really hard cutting back on my guest list because I wanted to invite a lot of people Including my coworkers, but due to budget reasons we had to cut back, but when you think about it, it gives for a more intimate event.

Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?

We met in high school, he was my brothers’ really good friend, scary huh? I started hanging out with my brother and his now wife and they would bring Jose around. Jose and I started talking and we started hanging out behind my brother’s back so it took him about 1 year to gain the courage to ask me out, and of course ask my brother if it was ok. The rest is history, we were high school sweet hearts and 7 years later he asked me to marry him on Christmas Day. He sent me a picture of my ring on accident, so he instantly texted back and told me it was his brothers’ engagement ring for his girlfriend and I so believed him, I belived him because his brother had a baby on the way with his girlfriend so I totatlly brushed it off and went on to forget about it. On Christmas day he gave me a big box which had a smaller boxes wrapped inside once I got to the smallest box there was a note inside that said turn around, I turned around and he was on his knee with the ring. I started to nervously laugh and I was like “are you joking around” because he such a jokester I didn’t believe him, so then he told me he was serious and said Yes!

Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?

Pinterst and out wedding coordinators book of colors. I went on Pinterest and searched up navy blue weddings, I came across a picture with a navy blue lamour tablecloth with a white hydrangea centerpiece, ivory lamour chair cover and navy blue bow and felt instantly in love and it was way better in person!

Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?

Our first dance. We had the time to reflect and cherish our moment. We couldnt believe we were a married couple and we were so thankful for everyone there and everything happening around us. It was a great moment to let it all sink in.

Q: How would you define the message ” Dare to Love”?

Dare to love beyond just love, Love yourself to be able to Love at a higher strength. Love is growth and perseverance. Love is a never ending adventure. Love is showing care & gratitude beyond dimensions. Love is learning and understanding what the world doesnt show you. Love is Love -Sandy Robles Reza
