Shantel & Jarad got married on the top of a mountain in Libby, Montana by Sep.1st,2017. They did not set up a specific theme, just followed their heart and nature! But we have to say, the whole wedding was magical and romantic, and everything is just Perfect! Congratulations on this sweet couple!

Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
My wedding was simple yet so magical, and fairly stress-free for the most part because I did everything so none traditional. My advice would be don’t care so much about the little things, let your friends and family take on jobs. *one friend offered to do my bouquet so I just let her, *Another friend offered to make my cake and cupcakes, *and instead of gifts we had everyone just bring a side dish, while we supplied the main course.
Q: How did you meet? And where did he propose?
We met a couple times over the years in the tiny town we grew up in. The last time was when I was bartending he came in and we chatted, hung out, and been together ever since.
He proposed one night while we were camping, we were just out in our sleeping bags watching the stars, and he told me he didn’t think he could live life without me and asked me if I would marry him!
Q: What inspired your wedding theme?
Nature!! He and I are very into hiking and camping. So that’s what we wanted our wedding to be about. We had the ceremony September 1st early in the morning, about 20 people or so drove up this mountain, and took a little stroll to the top, and that’s where we married after we said our I do’s, he surprised me with a song he had written for me. It was amazing.
September 2nd was the day of the reception. We rented out a campground for 3 nights. Jarad is in a band, as is a lot of his friends, so we had a music festival reception, and had about 8 bands play throughout the night, had a burger bar potluck, and danced the night away!
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
I did enjoy my planning, it was pretty easy going. And with a lot of my friends and family helping it really made the process go smoothly!
Q: What location did you pick to have your wedding and why did you choose this place?
We chose Hoodoo mountain, in Libby Montana because it was a simple drive up with a short walk to the top so that our closest friends and family could join, it is also the place where Jarads grandmothers ashes were spread, so it was already a special place.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
My favorite part was the surprise song Jarad sang to me. It was like a fairy tale being sung to, on top of a mountain, in front of all my favorite people.
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
I got lots of compliments on my dress, and my reply to everyone was, “thank you, I got it for 180$ brand new!” I love how elegant your dresses look at such an affordable price, it was my dream wedding dress for an amazing price! Also, I just loved the lace button up back!
