Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?

My advice would be do not sweat all the small stuff, relax and whats meant to be will be. We had a couple of mini dramas happen on our wedding day but I managed to smile and feel like everything was perfect. And it was perfect, I put that down to the person that I chose to marry.

Q: What about your love story?

Brentten and I met in high school so we are definitely the definition of High School sweet hearts. We had been together for just over 5.5 years when he asked me to Marry him in January 2017! Yes that’s right we dove in and had a surprise wedding in AUGUST! We invited our close family and friends to our joint 21st as we are both August 1996 babies.

Everything fell in to position so easily and we knew it was all meant to be. Honeymoon has been out on hold until June next year where we hope to travel Europe for a month focusing majority on France.

Q: What inspired your wedding theme?

We were inspired by our own house and lives while planning our wedding. We sped majority of our lives surrounded by the beautiful out back so there were no questions needed when we decided to have both the ceremony and reception outside. Luckily my Aunty has a lovely property filled with tress, flower and of corse the memories of my childhood. So it was perfect.

Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?

We both loved the wedding process. During planning for our wedding I was also fundraising for the Ronald McDonald House North Queensland so planning was second nature to me. We both enjoyed planning our dessert bar and cake we had a dessert bar filled with Mayfeild chocolates (which are hand made in Brisbane QLD AUS) donuts, macaroons in mint and strawberry flavour, mini caramel tarts, cookies, lollies and of course of cake which was vanilla and lemon curd with buttercream icing with a hint of lemon. Everything was as we planned.

Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?

The most memorable part of the day was shooting our first look shoot. It was something we both wanted to do and have that intimate moment captured. We were in a two story local gallery (Rowena Paine Murphy Gallery) I stood on the stair case and Brentten was walked in with his eyes closed by my bridal party. It was absolutely magical. And yes he cried we both did.

Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?

I absolutely loved my wedding dress. It was everything and more that I dreamed of. Everyone that knows me said it was me to a tea. I loved the low cut yet elegance of the front and the lace detail. I remember saying I didn’t want a train at all. But the moment I tried it on I was like nope it’s perfection. I was luck enough to say it was made for me as no alteration were done or needed in my mums opinion.

Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?

The customer service of Cocomelody has been second to none! Even the websites sizing chart, information and design had no fault.
