Real Wedding: Anabella & Daniel

Real Weddings | By:cocomelody

“It truly is a dating challenge to love someone and let yourself be loved.” ? — said by our beautuful bride Anabella! We can’t agree more and totally fall in love with Anabella & Daniel’s modern & elegant wedding in St.James Cathedral & Orlando Museum of Art. Anabella chose one of our most popular A-line wedding dresses LD5190 and was so glowing on her wedding day! Such a honor to play a part of Anabella and Daniel’s big celebration. Congratulations and wish them everlasting happiness!

Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?

We found that being open and clear with each other about our expectations was essential. From the beginning we agreed what we wanted, what we would feel okay foregoing, and what we were unwilling to compromise. Details will get overwhelming but don’t sweat the small stuff, how many weddings do you go to as a guest and actually sit there and analyze napkin colors and the exact arrangement of center pieces? My bet is not many. Guests will remember what they ate, how much they drank, how much fun they had dancing, and how your love made them feel. Also, if you are able do everything before the wedding, simply enjoy your day (after all you hired professionals to do it)!

Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?

We both love modern art museums, our initial dates included a lot of days filled with modern art and beautiful museums so when we found OMA, we knew it was the perfect choice.

Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?

I think any relationship – but especially romantic love – requires commitment, courage and vulnerability. It truly is a dating challenge to love someone and let yourself be loved.

Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?

Dani and I met when we were both in grad school. He was born and raised in Boston, his parents are Salvadoran. I was born in Venezuela, raised in South Florida, and had recently moved to Boston. On my first year of grad school I went to El Salvador on a service learning trip and upon my return I met him. It was so amazing to come back from my trip and actually be able to share these stories with someone who was interested and connected to the country. We had so many interests in common and he captivated me.on our second date we went to a local park to talk and we had our first kiss there. On our first year anniversary he took me to the park to plant a flower in the community garden. Four years later the week of our anniversary he took me to the same park and garden, it was there that he proposed!

Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?

When thinking about our wedding I find it so incredible to think that for one day in our lives, all the people we love profoundly came together to party and celebrate our love. Being immigrants our families are all over the world, and to exchange our vows with all of them as witnesses was beautiful.

Q: What did you love most about your #CocoMelody dress (es)?

Customized sizing and how unique it is! When I checked wedding dresses at David’s Bridal they were all super expensive and looked bland. CocoMelody was affordable and looked very chic!

Q: What do you think about CocoMelody and the customer service?

LOVE IT! Highly recommend CocoMelody!
