Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Take the time to truly enjoy your day. As I sat at the head table, looking out over our friends, my heart was so full. That’s what it’s really all about. Celebrating with your love, your friends and family. Don’t let that get lost in the details of planning a wedding.
Q: What about your love story?
We meet through a mutual friend, but I lived in Minnesota and he lived in Virginia. I made the flight to Virginia to meet him and 8 months later I packed up everything I owned and made the big move. That was 7 years ago. We got engaged on the beach in Daytona 4 years ago. After years of putting of the whole wedding planning process, finally it was fall.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
Our venue was incredible and it was a Friday night wedding. So keeping the theme simple seemed like the most fitting way to go.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
I planned our whole wedding, start to finish it in 5 weeks.You have to really be able to be flexible when you have a tight deadline, but it is also less time to stress out. I enjoyed how it all turned out. I can’t imagine it being any better even if I had a year to plan.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
Just looking out over the room to see so many people, I loved be there to celebrate with us.
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
My wedding dress was stunning. I got so many complements on it. I am a plus size woman, so to find a dress that made me feel like a princess was amazing.
Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?
I had a very tight timeline, Cocomelody worked with me to get the dress done in time and make the small changes I wanted. It’s scary to order something like this online, but totally worth it.
