 Q: Best wedding planning advice?

I only planned our wedding in three months!! I basically just set one goal or task to accomplish per day.

Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?

I just love greenery. It represents life!!

Q: Tell us your love story?

We met working at Outback Steakhouse 6 years ago. I was a senior in high school and playing a “senior Assassin” water gun fight. I had a crush on JoJo so I used this as an excuse to ask for a ride home so I “wouldn’t get caught” in the game. He took me home and we ended up going on a manhunt for my target that night. We had so much fun and we’ve been inseparable ever since. He moved out to LA with me so I could pursue my career in makeup and now he’s starting a career in the Navy and we’ll be exploring more new places together!

Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?

I would say in today’s society it’s a lot harder to commit to one person and love them unconditionally. “Daring to love” one person is almost a bold move now. I’m a firm believer that to have a strong relationship you have to make a conscious effort every day to nurture your love.

Q: The best/most memorable part of the day?

The most memorable times were the “first look” and the moments right after we were married! Both were so surreal and we couldn’t stop smiling. I felt like I was on cloud 9!

Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress (es)?

I wanted a wedding dress with a low back but also one that was more flattering around the waistline. It was so hard to find!! Angel, the sales rep, knew exactly what I was looking for and came out with my beautiful dress! It was the perfect amount of poofiness that wasn’t too overbearing.

Q: What do you think about Cocomelody?

I loved my experience at Cocomelody, I was lucky enough to be able to try on in the showroom and it was better than any of the previous bridal shops I’d been too! There was plenty of space, the employees were all super excited to help and the only place that offered us champagne! An amazing experience.
