Emily & Randy had the super fancy wedding in Yorkton, SK, CAN, they didn’t trally have a theme, they just kept everything elegant and simple, the nuptials also had lots of mixed metals, mercury glass votives, black sparkly tablecloth and lots of candles, very pretty and low key, and Emliy was look so glowing in her dream dress.

Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Enjoy the process, it’s such an exciting time. Don’t get too caught up in the planning, the money, or the details. We kept everything to a minimum and that really defined our whole wedding and made it so much fun because it was relaxed and more focused on the love.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
He proposed in our house we had just bought at the time; it was my birthday, he made me breakfast, he gave me my actual birthday gift which was a camera as I do Photography part time. He then made me a slideshow to watch, it was filled with pictures of us with little sayings from him – on the last slide was a picture of us that said “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you” and then he was down on one knee!
Q: How would you define the message ” Dare to Love”?
I say just go for it; Go all in and give and receive all the love you can. It’s wonderful!
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
My inspiration was just a magical winter night, I wanted it to feel warm and cozy but also really beautiful. Simplicity was key.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
I thought I would enjoy it more, but it can end up being a lot to take on. Once you have a plan and can really figure out what to do, it was better. Lists and timelines are your best friend!
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
My most memorable part of the day would be getting ready in the morning with my girls; it was so relaxing and such a great way to spend my morning before getting married. Walking down the aisle was also one of the key moments, there is so much emotion and it’s such an overwhelming feeling of love not only seeing your future husband at the end of the aisle but also seeing all your family and friends beaming at you with such pride and love.
Q: What did you love most about your #CocoMelody dress?
Loved everything about it! I got it custom sized and the wedding dress fit like a glove. Obviously ordering a wedding dress online can be quite daunting, but when I received my dress it was exactly like the picture and even more beautiful in person! I had so many compliments and felt like such a rockstar.
Q: What do you think about CocoMelody and the customer service?
Great customer service; as I said, it was quite scary ordering a wedding dress online, but I had wonderful assistance! I had a great back and forth conversation discussing my measurements, what accessories might be best and just overall they kept in touch and kept me in the loop. My dress even arrived sooner than the expected date!
