After dating 6 years, Kate & Brandon finally tied the knot with a classic wedding in Granville Inn 314 E. Broadway Granville, OH 43203. Kate was absolutely gorgeous in her dream lace gown, which made us believe that beauty has no size. We’re honored to be a part of her amazing day. Congratulations to Kate & Brandon!

Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?

Make sure you utilize the wedding planning websites like The Knot and Zola to make sure you don’t forget anything. They have great checklists and information to make sure you remember all the things that are important. They also help you understand more complicated issues like booking services and tipping expectations.

Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?

We loved the classic architecture of our venue and we wanted our wedding to reflect it.

Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?

We met 6 years ago online. Brandon was serving country in Afghanistan and I had just started college in a brand new state. Brandon was stationed near the college and after a few months of conversation online, Brandon’s tour was over and he returned home. I welcomed him home at the base and that was the first time we met in person. We went out to dinner that night and the rest was history. Brandon drove across country with me to meet my family that Christmas and we stopped in his hometown of Iowa on the way back so that I could meet his family. After college we moved back to Ohio to help take care of my father who had been diagnosed with ALS. After two years and the passing of my father we decided to move to Oregon for a change of scenery. We left our adorable dog with my mom in Ohio while we got settled in Oregon. Our dog doesn’t enjoy traveling so we wanted to make sure he wasn’t stressed out any more than he had to be. Once we were settled I flew home, picked up the dog, and drove back to Oregon in just a few days. The morning after we arrived back home in Oregon, Brandon proposed over breakfast with beautiful flowers and a gorgeous ring. Our first morning reunited as a family and we got to celebrate our engagement all together. We were so excited we face timed with family to tell them the good news.

dare to put yourself out there in order to find love. to find the person who was made for you.

Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?

Dare to love means dare to put yourself out there in order to find love. Dare to risk rejection, and heartache for the chance to find the person who was made for you.

Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?

Most memorable part of the day would have to be our first dance as a couple. We picked our favorite song and it was the first time we had ever danced together. My husband doesn’t like to dance or be the center of attention, so it meant the world to me that he was willing to do something he didn’t like just because it would bring me so much joy. We followed that dance with the dedication dance to my father and Brandon just held me as I cried over the fact that my father couldn’t be there with us for this special time.

Most memorable part of the day would have to be our first dance as a couple.

Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress (es)?

I love the beautiful crystal beading on the belt. It was so well done and I didn’t lose a single bead over the course of the night. I love my wedding dress so much!

Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?

I love Cocomelody. I recommend it to anyone getting married. They really took the time to make me feel beautiful and special on my big day. My dress was exactly what I expected and the customer service was exemplary.

I love the beautiful crystal beading on the belt.
