Lynne & Reje definitely had one Pinterest-worthy wedding. Their gorgeous outdoor nuptials were set in Orlando, FL. Especially, they have a unique wedding theme of “Mohagony love” to celebrate their culture. Words cannot describe how stunning they were, just check those pics below!

Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Take it all in! Enjoy every step. Love the good and the bad…it will be worth it in the end. Also, start planning as early as possible.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
We first saw each other across the room at church. The initial glance blossomed into friendship, and then a committed, God-centered relationship overflowing with Trust and Love on August 16th, 2015.\
I planned a surprised birthday dinner on December 16th, 2016. However, Reje proposed to me in front of family and friends turning the tides during his own surprise birthday party. Little did I know he was well aware of my plans and masterfully flipped the surprise on me after flawlessly acting aloof to his own dinner party
Q: How would you define the message ” Dare to Love”?
Defining our love and our relationship for ourselves. Not basing it on others relationships, or on what society says a relationship should be, or on what we see on tv, etc. Daring to create a safe space to connect with each other and communicate with each other. Daring to laugh and learn from each other.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
We wanted to celebrate our culture as a young black couple. Mahogany is a reddish-brown which ties in the maroon color. The navy is just classic and goes well with maroon. We also wanted something that would be elegant and timeless.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
I enjoyed the process because we kept things simple and sweet. The only thing I would change is starting the planning process earlier, like right after we got engaged lol.
Q: What was your hubby’s reaction when he first saw you on your big day?
He had a HUGE smile on his face. He said he shed one tear lol.
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
I loved the way it fit, how simple, and elegant it was. I have an athletic built body, so I didn’t want a big puffy wedding dress to hide all my curves. Also, I never pass up a chance to have my back out so it was perfect lol.
Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?
Cocomelody has great customer service! Before ordering I called into the store in California and all my questions were answered. My online buying worry was put to rest with the Facebook live runway show video and seeing other Cocomelody Brides on the Instagram account. Ordering was a breeze. Once I double and triple checked my measurement I just click custom order and when the dress came in I didn’t have to make any additional changes…fit perfectly!!
