Mai & Mike tied the knot at The Sunshine Event Center. They didn’t have a specific theme, but only focused on colors which were champagne, gold, and pink. Their nuptials were stunningly beautiful. We loved everything about their big day, especially Mai’s wedding dress which was the perfect amount of sweetness and elegance!

Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
I have a few. 1) Don’t waste time on finding your wedding dress 2) Do a lot of research on what websites are trustful when buying your dress if you will not be buying it in store 3) Communicate well with your family and your fiance’s family on what you want and don’t want at the wedding 3) Prepare for the worst.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
We met through mutual friends in college. 6 years later, during Mike’s 30th birthday, I threw him a little birthday party at his sister’s townhouse. Meanwhile, I was so focused on putting everything together for his birthday, he had the proposal planned out with his family. They told us to take birthday pictures and as I was posing for the camera, Mike turned me around to see the “Will you marry me” sign that his brother-in-law had been holding the entire time behind us. Mike then went down on one knee and popped the question again.
Q: How would you define the message ” Dare to Love”?
To me, dare to love means accepting your significant other for what they are the whole heartily 10. What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
– I didn’t need a theme. I just wanted to have decent decorations. My family is very critical, so I hand-made tissue paper flowers as the centerpiece on the tables and as my backdrop.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
Yes, I did. I had just the time that I needed to plan for the wedding. It was also very exciting to put together all the things that I had always wanted for my wedding.
Q: What was your hubby’s reaction when he first saw you on your big day?
My husband isn’t a wedding guy. Although he thought I looked beautiful, his reaction was just normal.
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
