Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Save the last week before the big day to rest and enjoy with your soon-to-be husband.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
On Christmas Day at my mom’s house, with all my family there. Everyone knew except for me. He had a custom Christmas ornament that asked me if I would marry him. He hid the ornament in the tree right before we were all ready to open gifts. He held my had as I looked at the tree and when I spotted it, he bent down on one knee and proposed! And I instantly said YES!!!
Q: How would you define the message ” Dare to Love”?
To allow yourself to completely let another person know you.. Faults and quirks in all. It’s scary to risk someone you like or love judge you, but it’s in the risk where you genuinely find out if you found someone who loves your faults because they make you, you!
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
I love gardening and being surrounded by trees and greenery. I wanted the natural color of greenery to stand out, so I went with white flowers and a very light bridesmaid color.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process?
Yes, I really enjoyed the wedding planning. I was very budget conscious since we paid for the majority of our wedding ourselves but we still had a blast and it brought us closer and more excited to celebrate our big day. I think having so much support from my family and husband made the process very enjoyable. We would go out to dinner or order pizza after each big decision (deposits, cake tasting, floral arrangement deposit, engagement photos, etc.)
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
Sitting next to him in church, sharing our faith and anticipating exchanging vows.
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
I loved that I was able to take my two favorite wedding dresses and blend them together! It was such a simple process and I was so happy with it!
Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?
Every appointment I had was so enjoyable! The staff from Cocomelody was so relatable and friendly! Even when I called to make changes to my dress I was treated so kindly and with a sense of urgency! I was always so impressed!
