Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Start early! I knew I had a vision of how I wanted my wedding to be so I started shopping early. I first bought the linens, then glassware, candles etc Do not be afraid to check out vintage/secondhand shops, they have the best stuff! Also, breathe! it will all turn out fine & even if it doesn’t the most important thing is your union.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
I love how simplistic greenery is but yet so elegant! It was perfect, all the greenery & rose gold accents against fresh white complemented each other so well. I was so in love with the overall look, at night the candles were lit along with the vintage string lights that adorned the barn. Altogether it gave my reception a super romantic & dreamy vibe.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
Well, this goes back 10.5 years , we met on the internet. We started hanging out quite often and eventually won me over, 2 years later we moved in together and had our first baby. Then came the second baby and in 2015 he decided to propose when we were on a weekend trip at our favorite beach. We have been through so much & yet continue to hold strong, I couldn’t imagine going through life with any other person.
Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?
I would say it means take a risk to love & be loved. Love and/or marriage is a commitment to stick by one another in the good and bad, until death no matter the circumstance. It’s a decision to be vulnerable and give every piece of your being to someone even if you are terrified and trust that your heart will be taken care of.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
The best part of the day has to be when we saw each other for the first time during the ceremony. I don’t think I had ever seen him that happy & emotional ever! The little things he whispered to me when we finally sat down made my heart fill with joy. We got married in a catholic church and being in front of our savior was such a blissful moment.
Q: What did you love most about your #CocoMelody dress (es)?
My wedding dress was great! They stayed within the 85 day timeline and when I started to get worried about the dresses arrival and emailed them they responded right away!
Q: What do you think about CocoMelody and the customer service?
I love CocoMelody! they were so helpful during the entire process. I actually visited the LA store and didn’t feel pressured to buy right then & there like most other shops. They were so understanding and accomodating even when I sent some emails about shipping time.
