Amber + Devon tied the knot on Owl Creek Farm in Temecula. Their magical day featured a rustic/vintage theme and lots of greenery with pops of lavender, cream, champagne and blush.

Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?

If you can afford a wedding planner, I would definitely recommend one! Planning everything on your own can be very overwhelming. Unless you have a long time to plan, then take it one task at a time and set goals for when you want them done.

Don’t get worked up about the little things. At the end of the day people are there for the both of you, not to judge your venue or how the food tasted. Don’t try and please everyone! Lastly, remember to enjoy this day with your future hubby. Yes, enjoy dancing with friends and family but also take the time for each other because the day will go by fast.

Q: How did you meet? And where did he propose?

We met in college in Lincoln, Nebraska. I’m from California and he’s from Maryland so it was meant to be! We met in the middle.

He proposed at Disneyland, right in front of the castle.

Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?

I did enjoy it! There were times when it was getting stressful but that was towards the end. I enjoyed picking out my wedding dress, my bridesmaid dresses and every detail about our wedding.

Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?

I was just so attracted to the rustic look! I loved the wood pieces, rustic signs, farm style look of it.

Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?

The most memorable part of our day was probably our first look. When we did our first look my husband got teary and told me I looked beautiful. I couldn’t believe it. It was the best reaction. Considering nothing makes him cry!

Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?

I loved the lace. I’m so picky about how I wanted the lace to look like and my wedding dress was perfect! Exactly what I had pictured. I loved how it fit my body and how it was customized to my body.

Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?

In store customer service at Cocomelody was very nice. Even though it was limited space (their old place), I still felt as though they did whatever they could to help me. They really listened to what I wanted and were honest about how the process would be. I felt as though they took the time to individualize each dress to my expectations. I love that I could customize my dress and they were so open to making my dream dress happen!
