Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Stop a take a few quiet minutes during your wedding day. It goes by in a blur, focus on a few key moments.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
We are not really public people, so he proposed at home on Christmas Eve, just the two of us. After a fabulous dinner and a nice walk to see some Christmas lights we sat down to open our gifts to each other. Mine was an empty box! When I looked up to ask “what the heck?!” he was down on one knee with a beautiful ring. I’m sure I was yelling “YES!” Before he even asked me anything. It was perfect.
Q: How would you define the message ” Dare to Love”?
Take a chance!!! It took a few times of the suggestion that I date my now husband, but I kept passing on it as he didn’t fit into my “idea” of what I was looking for. When I finally went out with him I realized he was everything I was looking for and I wish I’d met him years ago!
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
We wanted a moody, romantic space, with a big bar for socializing around. We loved the deep plum and berry colors of fall and built our color palette of that.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
Noooo. I wanted my vision exactly and had a hard time delegating tasks to other people and relinquishing control. It was overwhelming! If I had to do it again, I’d elope!
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
The color! Coco had so many options and they enabled me to get exactly what I wasn’t able to find at the local boutiques. Also, the quality was unreal for the price. I was initially worried that buying a lower priced wedding dress would show in the quality, but not so.
Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?
My experience at Cocomelody was excellent. Someone contacted me to verify my custom measurements and any email was answered promptly.
