Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?

The best wedding advice I would give to a future bride/groom is enjoy the planning and don’t stress the small stuff. You only get married once and it should be FUN planning your wedding and getting to choose the details. Try to make it fun rather than a task!

Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?

I think both him and I wanted something where all our loved ones come together and have a great time. We wanted elegance and traditional catholic wedding.

hanging dress is a good idea!

I love that although I'm a plus size bride it was very flattering on me!

Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?

Just like most love stories in this time era we met online in 2012. We fell quickly in love and had our daughter a few months later in 2013. It took him ONLY 5 years to finally pop the question. He says he wanted to wait for the right time and once we finished our careers. He was attending the police and graduated October 2017. After the graduation was finished we met him outside. We all gathered together with our families and did the normal taking pictures with everyone. After everyone was through with taking photos he asked me to come near him to take a photo with him. He whispered into my ear saying “Are you ready?” I looked to my right and he was on one knee. I cried like a baby and said “YES”. Everyone cheered us on and had all our family together to experience this! NO ONE had a clue which was PERFECT!

Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?

I believe this expression is to be vulnerable and allow yourself to fall in love. Not withholding any feelings or expressions to your significant other. Allowing yourself to love and be loved.

Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?

I believe the most memorable part of the day would be our vows. It was personalized and it meant a lot to hear from my husband what I meant to him and how far we have come to get to our wedding day. I loved that he added that we both finished our careers (him as a police officer and myself as a nurse) and accomplished so much despite having a child so young at the age of 20. I was a moment to cherish to hear what we meant to each other.

Q: What did you love most about your Cocomelody dress (es)?

I love that although I’m a plus size bride it was very flattering on me and I felt comfortable throughout the day. I also LOVED that it was such an elegant and beautiful wedding dress that was affordable and within our budget.

Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?

Overall the service was impeccable. When we went for dress shopping this was the first and only placed I looked at dresses. It was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Clay was awesome and had us enjoying champagne and enjoying the experience of trying on dresses. CocoMelody made me feel special and most of all like a bride! The dress was delivered a month and a half later. The dress was exactly what I expected and tried on. It needed little to no alterations. And I felt like it was made for me and fit my body perfectly.

Allowing yourself to love and be loved.
