Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Take a breathe, look around and admire your creation. What’s missing won’t matter. Remember to take care of yourself whether it before the reception or after. Don’t be afraid to get your dress dirty, it adds to the memories.
Q: How did you meet? And where did he propose?
We met at high school in Narrogin. Jesse proposed on a family vacation with our daughter whilst visiting friends in Germany. On the top of a Bavarian mountain after a 7km hike he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
We originally wanted rustic as it is who we are as people, being brought up in the country we admire rustic objects and buildings. We incorporated Forrest once we had chosen our venue. As the venue was situated in the middle of a beautiful Forrest it would of been a shame to not include the amazing nature that surrounded us.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
The wedding planning was stressful and at times hard. Being a complete DIY wedding, everything was worth it when the final product came to life. Luckily we had amazing people willing to help every step of the way!! (Ladies don’t be afraid to ask for help)
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
Although every moment was as great as the next, the most memorable would be our beautiful daughters stealing the show. Our first dance as husband and wife was interrupted by our girls, this made the dance so much more special. Having the dance not only with my now husband but with our children made everything feel so real and to know we are now a family with the same surname.
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
The low cut dress. My wedding dress had so much detail and I had so many comments about how beautiful it was. I felt a million dollars!!
