Real Wedding: Jenny & Shane All the smiles, all the happy tears and all the love ?

Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?

Don’t be afraid to be different. Go off the beaten path of what you’ve seen at 100 prior weddings and choose things that make you happy!

Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?

Our theme was vintage boho. We wanted warm tones and fall feels with the mixture of macrame and succulents. Antique quilts made by our grandmothers, white pumpkins, and round bales of hay- many textures!

Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?

Shane and I met at a bluegrass show & then later we were setup by some mutual friends! Our first date we sat in the back porch, listened to The Johnson Mountain Boys and had a few Busch Lights. He hasn’t left my side since. Our first vacation, he proposed to me (on my birthday) in Asheville, NC.

Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?

I would define “dare to love” as taking a chance on a better way of life. Taking a chance on finding the person that completes you, makes your life easier and makes you a better person. Daring to love is scary. Putting yourself, your feelings, your heart out there for someone to destroy or reject is terrifying, I have definitely been on the wrong side of the dare before. However, the reward of real love is worth the broken heart, it’s not mended.

Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?

The most memorable part of the day for me was our ceremony. I wrote a letter to our guests that was read aloud before I walked down the isle. They were laughing. They were crying. Everyone was emotional and connected to our special event. The songs were played and sang perfectly by some of my greatest friends. The banjo sounded amazing in the middle of an open field of friends. I had goosebump & tears fell carelessly down my cheek.
