Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?

Whatever you do don’t sweat the small things! It all happens for a reason – on my day the men forgot their buttonholes but they had already raced off to get them but it gave me more time to get ready hahaha! Don’t listen to “everyone” giving you “advice” it’s your and your hubbies day so do what you wish to do trying to accommodate everyone with stress you beyond belief!

Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?

Haha! The whole story. I spent heaps of money on him for our 4th-anniversary presents. I’d gotten home from work and he was meant to be ready to go out but he wasn’t – then he had 5 presents from me and he had nothing for me. As you could imagine after working all morning and coming home to nothing I was a little upset. I ended up getting ready and going out myself. Where I went was a tattoo show where I won two prizes, felt super guilty and told him to come to the show. We then went home, showered, ordered take out and went to the Glasshouse Mountains lookout like we always did for our anniversary. Halfway there it started to pour rain, so we decided to head home. Feeling guilty from the argument and storming out that afternoon I decided to find every candle we own and lit them to eat our take-out by candlelight. After dinner, I was like “presents!” So we sat in the lounge room which was also filled with candles. He opened all his then he said I need a drink. I could hear him gulping his water so loudly – then he left came back and dropped down on one knee where I cried like a baby. The rest is history haha.

Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?

Let people in. At the time I met my now hubby, I wasn’t looking for anyone so I was so closed off. The only man I was ever “friends” with first haha Dare yourself to fall in love. Dare yourself to be happy. Let love take over and your life will be perfect.

Q: Did you have a particular theme or color scheme? Is there a story behind this color theme and why you chose it?

Not in particular but once we looked at Venues and saw styles that we liked we fell in love with natural, elegant looks. As for the purple, it’s always been my favorite color – and since I was a little girl all I can remember is that I wasn’t purple orchids so it was the perfect fit. As for the white, it matched the bottom of the ombré – perfect fit. It all fell into place.

Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?

Yes and no! I loved having something to do, something to look forward too. Planning my perfect day and marrying Josh.
I hated people butting in haha I let people opinions get in the way and accommodating for them and you don’t have too!

Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?

When I called him “wife” during our vows.

Q: Why did you choose #Cocomelody for your bridesmaids?

Honestly, I saw them on Facebook and fell in love. I always dreamed of purple bridesmaid dresses, I have also never fancied multiway or the “popular” dress. So when I saw the ombré came in multi styles that would suit my girls – when they were on sale. I HAD TO HAVE THEM.

Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?

Fast and helpful. thank you Cocomelody.
