Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Stay organized and don’t be afraid to hand out tasks to bridesmaids and other family and friends to make your stress load less. Make sure to take in all that you can on the big day, it goes by so fast.
Q: What about your love story?
I had recently moved back to my hometown and started working at a new restaurant that opened downtown. Tom was from upstate NY and moved to Hudson as the executive chef. We met at work and the rest is history.
Q: What location did you pick to have your wedding and why did you choose this place?
Tom and I just knew the moment we stepped foot at Zukas that it was the place. It is completely isolated on top of a hill surrounded by thousands of trees. The grounds are breathtaking.
Q: What’s your hubby’s reaction when he first saw you on your big day?
He was so excited. My husband isn’t a very emotional man, but he did shed some tears during our ceremony. It was so sweet.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
Our ceremony. I will relive that in my head for the rest of my life. We wrote our own vows and they were so heartfelt. For the time it lasted, it was just Tom and I. It felt like the world stopped for that moment in time.
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
It was so unique. I felt so beautiful in it. I loved how it flowed when I walked, loved how it sparkled when I danced. It was such a romantic wedding dress.
