Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Soak up every minute leading up to the big day, remember its all about you and your fiance. Also don’t feel bad about being ruthless when making decisions and try to have fun making them.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
We met in South Africa and we’ve been together for 6 years. We made the massive decision to leave everything we know and have and follow our dreams in New Zealand (It been amazing so far). Dexter proposed in the Auckland Sky Tower on a beautiful September evening, we were standing over the glass floor, the view was amazing and we were the only ones there! He dropped his knee and pulled out my stunning ring.
Q: How would you define the message ” Dare to Love”?
To me, this means choosing to love and accept someone despite any challenges that may arise.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
As a couple, we are pretty easy going and I wanted the decor to reflect not only my taste but also Dexter’s. It was important to create an atmosphere were everyone could “feel the love” and I think we did that.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
Yes and no, trying to plan a wedding overseas wasn’t easy and I had a lot of help from my sister (also my maid of honor). Once all the really important things were taken care of I had more fun.
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
All the lace on the wedding dress, which had so much detail to it and was used in so many aspects of the dress ( the sleeves, the plunging front, the back) All the lace made me feel so comfortable and the most confident I have ever felt.
Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?
Cocomelody‘s customer service was Amazing!! I felt so supported and comforted throughout the ordering process. I ordered a standard size and followed the measurements provided to choose and the dress fit perfectly.
