Real Wedding: Laura & Isaac

Canada Weddings Real Weddings | By:cocomelody

Emerald Lake Lodge is the perfect location for an intimate Mountain Elopement. On June 5th, Laura and Isaac shared their vows just the 2 of them. They didn’t expect to have a wonderland backdrop for their romantic Rocky mountain wedding. The breathtaking lake views it totally made Laura look even more magical with the turquoise water! Congrats to the newlyweds

Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?

Have the wedding that you want, based on your budget. Splurge on the photographer and find someone whose work you love. We eloped and really focused on the geographical location and the photos, as at the end of the day you only have the memories and photos to look back on! We love our photos and where we chose to get married.

Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?

Isaac proposed in September at Mont Tremblant in Quebec. We had ridden the gondola to the top of the hill and he found a private lookout area. I was quite surprised as he had set up cameras and caught it all on tape!

Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?

The wedding planning process was quite easy for us as we eloped. I enjoyed doing all the research online and planning, and having the special day to look forward to. We had to fly 4 hours and then drive 3 hours to get to the lodge, so that was the only part of the process that was stressful as I didn’t want my dress to get damaged during the flight or trip (luckily it didn’t, I only had to get it steamed after the flight).

Q: What was your hubby’s reaction when he first saw you on your big day?

When Isaac saw me on our wedding day, he said “WOWWWWWW”. I think he was surprised how it all came together and what my dress, accessories, plus glam make-up and hair looked like!

Q: What did you love most about your #CocoMelody dress?

I loved everything about my Cocomelody wedding dress. The lace and train were gorgeous as well as the button up back and design. I really wanted full-length sleeves as it was quite cool in the mountains. I liked the color and how the dress was unique and not a typical style that you see on most brides.

Q:  What do you think about CocoMelody and the customer service?

Cocomelody is a great company, the whole dress choosing and ordering process was so easy! I was able to look at all the dresses online and see real brides wearing them on Facebook and Instagram. The live videos were also amazingly helpful! Once I had chosen a dress, I emailed with questions and then sent my measurements. I ordered online and the dress was custom made to my measurements and then shipped to me. There were no issues having it shipped to Canada and the shipping cost was very reasonable. The dress itself was great quality and very comfortable. Customer service at Cocomelody was perfect, quick responses and accurate information. Thank you!
