Q: Any advice or tips for the future Mrs.?
Don’t stress out, everything will turn out lovely!
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
Adam and I were in a long-distance relationship (he lived in Muscat and I lived in Dubai) for over two years where we traveled every weekend to see each other. It wasn’t easy but we made it work. Total of over four years in the relationship, he proposed when we’re in a short holiday in Pattaya, Thailand last year. It took him quite some time to pop the question where apparently he’d been trying to muster the courage for months. It wasn’t romantic and there’s no ring so the first thing I asked was “where’s the ring?”. He said we would buy one at the airport and I must say, I’m lucky to get to chose my ring. I said yes after hearing what he had to say that made my heart flutter. We’re not the romantic type of couple, but we know for a fact that we truly love each other more than anything in this world.
Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?
Love doesn’t have age, race, size, and distance. If you genuinely love, trust, understand and accept each other for who they are, nothing else matters.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
Seychelles undoubtedly has beautiful beaches and is known for beach weddings. Since getting married in Seychelles was the best option for Adam and me, we just went with it. Honestly, I’ve always dreamed of having a beach wedding since I was young hence was over the moon that my dream came true.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
Absolutely! We hired a wedding planner in Seychelles and place our trust in them. I provided them with photo references for everything I want for the wedding, and they deliver. It was stress-free and easy, even the paperwork was all taken care of. All we had to do were arrange our flight and hotel bookings sorted; fly to Seychelles; chill, relax and explore the country; and be available on our wedding day. We can’t be happier, everything turned out beautiful and dreamy.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
The wedding ceremony was the most memorable. It was filled with love and laughter, Adam and I were extremely happy.
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
I love everything. The wedding dress looked elegant – simple in front with a little bit of drama in the back. I’m delighted that the alterations I have asked were done beautifully, thinner sleeves and lower back made the dress sexy in a modest way. The dress fits like a glove and it’s utterly gorgeous. My friends and family were impressed by how beautiful the dress was and they can’t believe it was bought online.
Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?
