We’re loving the simplicity and laidback style of registery weddings. Lindzey & Braden had the most beautiful wedding day in City Hall, San Francisco. Everything was timeless and precious. Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Skip the little details. You will spend so much time pain staking over and stressing over the little details, but when the day comes and goes you won’t have even noticed them.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
We met when he got home from Afghanistan in 2013, he was a friend of a friend and we met at this terrible chicken place that’s closed now. Later we and some friends went back to my house where we played truth or dare and our friend dared us to kiss. After everyone else had gone to sleep we spent the whole night talking before he had to go back to his station in New York the next day. He didn’t come home again for a year or so and when he got back we’d go on a couple dates and then kind of go off to do our own thing for a while. Finally two years ago we finally got serious and moved in together. About 5 months after that we were moving out of our house and he called me out of the bed room to the kitchen where he and our friend were waiting. I came around the corned into our empty living room where he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him while our friend filmed it.
Q: How would you define the message ” Dare to Love”?
Don’t be afraid to let yourself love someone, it’s terrifying and no one wants to get hurt, but it’s worth the risk.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
It was fun at some parts and stressful at others, all in all, it was a great experience that I hope I never have to repeat again haha!
Q: What was your hubby’s reaction when he first saw you on your big day?
He was staged in the Palace of Fine Arts park in SF waiting for me to arrive, I walked up behind him and tapped his shoulder when he turned around and saw me for the first time he glowed with love and pride and almost cried!
Q: What did you love most about your #Cocomelody dress?
The beautifully made wedding dress, elegant back with the lace and buttons all up to the back!
