Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?
Planning is fun yet stressful at times. If possible, try making DIYs for the wedding either for big or small details. Saves you a lot of money and feels so fulfilling that you’ve contributed something to your own wedding.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
We wanted to have a wedding where guests would enjoy the scenery and beautiful view of the mountains. We also made it a travel theme since Micah is a flight attendant and Joseph is a cyclist who both loves traveling.
Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?
We met through a common friend. Her name is Metzi. She was my fellow cabin crew and Joseph’s childhood friend. Joseph started messaging me and first time met when I had a layover in Los Angeles for work. It was long distance since I was based in the Middle East and Joseph lives in California. We started out as friends. On February 2017, I told him that I don’t a flight to LA on my roster and was assigned to Johannesburg South Africa instead. Few days before my flight, he texted me a copy of his plane ticket to Africa! From there, our friendship turned into romance and the rest was history.
Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?
For me “Dare to Love” means loving with no boundaries.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
Our personal vows during the wedding ceremony.
