Vivian & John were married in a particular “Yesterday, Today, and Forever” themed wedding in Nigeria-Zaria Kaduna state. We are totally swooning over this romantic nuptial and can’t take our eyes off Vivian’s beautiful wedding dress which was made even more so by the addition of lace detail! Q: Can you tell us your love story? Where & How did he propose?
The groom sister is my very good friend back in London, so she introduced me to her brother based in Nigeria. We started talking on the 12 of July 2016. (Social media IG) That was his birthday by the way. We met for the first time on the 23rd of September and we got engaged on the 1st of October. He called out for me in front of his parents, got his parents blessing and we got engaged in his parents living room right there in his family house in Zaria- Kaduna state. we had our traditional wedding on the 1st January 2018, had our white wedding on the 10th February 2018.
Q: What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
True Love.
Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?
Yes I did! I got to buy my perfect dream wedding dress. My bouquet was amazing and the reception hall was everything I have always dreamed about. I got to marry my Prince Charming plus I had a perfect after wedding party.
Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?
When we were pronounced HUSBAND and WIFE.
Q: What was your hubby’s reaction when he first saw you on your big day?
He was like OOOOOH MY GUSH. I am so glad I spent that much on this wedding dress. You look amazing honey.
