Q: Any advice or tips for future Mrs.?

Book things in as early as possible for the big day. I booked things 12-18 months in advance and found I was super relaxed on the day knowing things were paid and organized.

Q: Tell us your love story! Where & How did he propose?

We had been together since 2007. In 2012 our daughter was born sleeping. With the money we had received for bereavement, I said to Daniel, please buy me a ring and let plan our wedding in honor of her and for us also. Daniel is a very shy person and wouldn’t stand out in a crowd and so I thought if he was to propose, he would just probably do it at home or dinner just us.

Anyways, with his work, he traveled a lot. He was a 2 hour drive from home and was away for the week. Little did I know he had brought the ring down there.

The Friday night we had plans to go to dinner at a mates place. My mate rang me and said that she had to work and if we could go to her work for dinner instead of their house. I called Dan and he agreed. My mate was working at a restaurant and we were on a table with her fiance and her family as we are all good friends. The night went on, I ate dinner but wasn’t too keen on getting dessert as I was a bit full! My mate that worked there then came over to me and put a piece of chocolate cake in front of me. I went to say that I didn’t order it, but she walked away to the other side of the table and just watched me. Everyone watched me, there were like 5-6 cameras on me. I didn’t actually click. Then I looked at the cake, it had the ring on it and in chocolate sauce on the plate it read, “Will you marry me?” I burst into tears! Daniel then came and sat next to me and asked, “So is that a yes?” I was so excited that I forgot to say yes! Of course I said yes! And everyone in the restaurant, the staff in particular, then applauded and were watching! It was amazing, definitely unexpected.

Q: How would you define the message “Dare to Love”?

Taking risks and knowing you will never face them alone with the one you love.

happy life is beginning!

Q: Did you have a particular theme or color scheme? Is there a story behind this color theme and why you chose it?

I’ve always loved the beach and Frangipanis. So the yellow was always going to be part of our wedding. I’m not one for pinks and purples, and a lot of my friends were doing those colors. I’ve always loved the Teal/Jade green and that with the beach and yellow frangipanis just worked.

Q: Did you enjoy the wedding planning process? Why or why not?

I loved wedding planning. I was not stressed at all. Like I said above, I booked everything straight away, everything and everyone just made it easy. I loved doing DIY with decorations, favors etc.

Q: What was the best/most memorable part of the day?

Walking down the aisle and seeing my husband to be. He looked gorgeous.

it;s you make my life so beautiful!

Q: Why did you choose Cocomelody for your bridesmaids?

I loved the different variety and styles, and the fact that the accommodate for plus sizes. I had different sized bridesmaids and I wanted them in the same bridesmaid dress and this was possible from Cocomelody.

Q: What do you think about Cocomelody and the customer service?

Absolutely brilliant. After I placed the order, i received a call from Cocomelody regarding the measurements for the custom made dress. The bridesmaid had measured from her shoulders instead of her head and it would have been too short. I then was able to change this on the phone and the dress was perfect! She did not need any alterations! Can’t thank you Cocomelody enough!
